Free, evidence-informed education about Functional Neurological Disorder for people with FND, supporters, and clinicians.

Course

The FND Course is a step-by-step introduction to FND. It covers what FND is, how it is diagnosed, current research and uncertainty, symptom knowledge, safety, treatment and rehabilitation, daily life, self-advocacy, and long-term management.

Reference Library

The Reference Library is for looking up a symptom, clinical question, recovery approach, or related condition. It includes:

  • Understanding an FND diagnosis — shared explanations of positive diagnosis, tests and investigations, everyday function, and other concepts that recur across symptoms.
  • Diagnostic techniques — symptom-specific positive signs, examination techniques, diagnostic criteria, limitations, and differential considerations.
  • Recovery techniques — symptom-specific rehabilitation, treatment, self-management, safety, access, and continuing-care approaches.
  • Common co-occurring symptoms and conditions — topics such as migraine, persistent headache, tinnitus, pain, fatigue, sleep difficulty, autonomic symptoms, and other conditions that may occur alongside FND.
